The Middle School French program uses stories, drama, music and gestures, including Jeunesse en action! materials developed by the Accelerated Integrated Method (AIM), to help students develop oral and written fluency quickly, using high-frequency vocabulary. Students will develop oral skills with language structures first, and reinforce them with writing activities. Throughout the year, the program is enriched with the exploration of various themes, cultural experiences, and readings. Students will become increasingly functional in French by using only French in the classroom. Students are invited to bring along their passions and a curiosity for things they have yet to discover.
